
Sometime I do absents from blogging but its not mean I was free from cooking.Actually, I never stop experimenting new things and ideas which got stuck on my head and hardly never leave me in peace.I usually get myself busy buzzing around in the kitchen,making new sort of cake and new dishes.Some of those delicacy I tried last time gave me a big satisfaction and good success indeed.Photos are overloaded immensely and there a lots of pending post is waiting in my archives,but the experiments nevertheless continue.Primarily it's help me to increase my knowledge in food culinary,I think.
Lets come to today recipe sharing,Yeah, the sounds "HOT MILK CAKE" is something obviously different and new to me.Actually, I discovered the recipe in somewhere but I'm not sure where.Hang on one minute, gotcha.I found the recipe at Taste of Home.com,one my fav food web page.The recipe and the picture are caught my eyes,so I end up tried it.The cake were absolutely okay to me.But I help myself with a little spread of butter on the cake slice to get a creamy buttery taste.Have those butter spreads hot milk cake with cuppa is made heaven initially.
I made some cupcake too with the same batter for my lit fellow who a are lazy to have a cake as a slice...
Hot Milk Cake
Ingredients
4 eggs
2 cups sugar (I used 1.5 cup)
1.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/4 cups 2% milk
10 tablespoons butter, cubed
Method:
1. In a large bowl, beat eggs on high speed for 5 minutes or until thick and lemon-colored. Gradually add sugar, beating until mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder; gradually add to batter; beat at low speed until smooth.
2. In a small saucepan, heat milk and butter just until butter is melted. Gradually add to batter; beat just until combined.
3. Pour into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
